Our Attorneys
Attorney John William Bass Sr. founded the firm in 1984 as a sole proprietorship. Using his knowledge in construction and real estate transactions, he quickly established a practice dealing with the legal issues clients commonly face in that industry. As he gained more experience, he branched into additional practice areas.
In 1996, J. William Bass Jr. joined the firm. Four years later he bought the firm and formed our current practice — The Bass Law Firm, LLC. Senior William Bass now divides his time between the practice of law and serving on the bench as a judge.
We strive to remain active in the community, both as a firm and individually. Through active involvement in politics, the Chamber of Commerce and other organizations, we connect with other professionals in the area.
Our Building
We have been in our building since 1999, located near the Grady County Courthouse and directly across from the Roddenbery Memorial Library. The building was originally built as a boarding house and has served a variety of purposes since then. Most recently, we undertook a large renovation project from 1999-2000, in which we renovated the entire interior footprint of the building.
